Tonight Nico Grubert and I, Chris Abraham, were interviewed by Bill and Dave of The Computer Report for broadcast on Talkradio 980 WCAP, broadcast every Saturday afternoon from 4:00-6:00. Eastern Time! So it would I guess be this Saturday 15 December at 4pm EST.
Normalish
I just drove out to Target on rt 1. The car's batts were acting funny, so I wanted to get a charge on, so I went to Target so that I could buy a can opener and some laundry detergernt and dishwashing machine liquid.

Our Song Movie Review
Michelle and I went to see Our Song, which should still be showing over at Visions and I was most certainly moved by both the obvious humanity of the story and the amazing talent of the actresses.
New York City
I spent the weekend to see Marlise. She was sent by her company, Mamma Cash, to do some training for her job in sfo and she stopped in nyc on the way home. She has always come to DC to see me, so I returned the favor!

Zope 2.3.1 is All Growed Up
I am exploring the fun and function of Zope's new version, Zope 2.3.1 and I must say that the hacked feel is very mature, intuitive, and finished right out of the box.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 1999
I must say that I have been leasing this car since 1999 and I have had nothing but amazing experiences with it.

Review of Apple iBook 500MHz, 10G HDD, 128M RAM
I own a new iBook in Lime Green. 128M Ram, MacOS 9.1, and its been a mixed blessing. Its fast, but I am now unused to the preemptive multitasking vibe that Mac has. It doesn't like to be pushed too hard to yanked around; I believe that it senses negative energy and crashed if I am not centered.
Mango's Rocks on Chrismas!
All the coolest cats I know showed up at Mangos last night to celebrate the launch of this site, International Women's Day, and incidentally, my 31st birthday: Chrismas.
Mayor Williams Must Have Read
I was considering lambasting Washington, DC, by putting together a critical website, but I really have to say that its not terribly easy these days. The Prime example is the new, improved, DMV and the amazing job done by the new DC Government Website.
Born at around 3am, 31-years ago
I was born in a Jersey City, NJ, hospital 31 years ago after a very easy pregnancy and quite premature.

Looking for a new Mobile Phone and Provider
I have been a pretty happy customer of AT&T Wireless since 1996 and have had very much the same phone the entire time. First it was the Nokia 6160 and now it is the Nokia 5160 with an orange face plate. It might be the perfect phone, but I am aching to add a load of cool features to my mobile that the 5160 cannot support.

Motorola T900 is perfect at what it does
I bought a little black 2-way pager from WebLink Wireless and I couldn't be happer!

HandSpring Visor Deluxe
The Handspring Visor Deluxe is an excellent value and I highly recommend it if you cannot afford the Prism or the sadly-coloured but faster and gray-scale Visor Platinum.

I used to be on my church Vestry
I found a cool old photo of myself back when I was 30. With a goatee. As part of what's called Congregational Development.

I've been erging forever
While I have always been spotty when it comes to rowing my Concept2 Indoor Rower, I have been doing it forever!

The level playing field
The great equalizing factor, of course, is that nobody can see each other online so the ideas are what really matter.

What are Online Communities?
People in a virtual community naturally group themselves around common interests.

A New Dimension of Community
When a group of people with similar interests, concerns, and goals come together, we have the makings of a community.
Shadow Conventions 2000
Went to Mass today at St. James' Episcopal Church Capitol Hill and was happy to see Father Downing back! He looked great! Today was Saint James' day as well so we ate and ate and ate and saw off Dan and Chris and loved Father D.

Two hours at the gym today
Ellipse Machine; abs; stretching. Walked back. Michelle or I am moving out soon. We are blue, obviously. Obviously.
