Season greetings from Chris and Jack Abraham
| filed under: Uncle Jack, Jack Abraham Photography, Family, New Jersey, Memories, Family Photos, Asbury Park, Jack AbrahamI hope you've had a wonderful 2017 and are having a delightful, friend-and-family-filled, holiday season! I wish you the most prosperous and love-filled 2018 imaginable!
My cool uncle Jack Abraham, who was an art and commercial photographer, used to send me a holiday card every year. He's not with us anymore but I thought I would share the last card he sent to me in 2008.
He was always cool uncle Jack to me, especially when he looked just like John Lennon, had a studio in the Village, collected and restored Jeep CJs, and bred Borzois with his beloved Mary Ann—his entire life.
When I was a little kid, he made me flashing LEDs that I put behind my ears and made me a wacky alien. The wires fed down to batteries secreted in a Band-Aid tin.
Since I had a real scrape with my health last year this time I am feeling exceptionally grateful so I thought I would share uncle Jack with you.
Hauoli Makahiki Hou!
Here are a number of photos I have been able to find that he has mailed me over the years—enjoy!
Miss you, Uncle Jack!
