Health care in the USA

There is no way that a 1st world country like the USA should, in such a time of prosperity and economic success, not be willing to assure that all her people are healthy, happy, and wise.
A people cannot spend their time working towards the long term if there is neither a concept of safety net nor the security inherent other economies. We live in a sink or swim economy and those who cannot afford security are failures and suffer third world treatment in spite of the Dow or the Nasdaq.
