You really need to double or triple the amount of water and electrolytes you take every single day
It turns out I need 155oz or so water every day. The dosage of water and electrolytes has more to do with body size and weight so eight glasses of water a day is only appropriate for someone who is 128 lbs and not for someone like me who is currently 321 lbs. The number of ounces you need to consume every day to supply your body with an adequate amount of water is your body weight divided by two. So, my perfectly average friend Mark, requires 75oz of water a day.
