Day 7 of my Holiday Challenge
Still working on ramping up but after a week, I have only amassed 26,622 meters so far. I need to start doing 10,000+ days in order to make sure I'm well over 200,000 meters by midnight on Christmas Eve. Wish me luck!

Some great books for slow jogging, slow running, and heart rate aerobic training
While it all started with my discovery of Slow Jogging by Hiroaki Tanaka, it's expanded to Slow Running by Chris Bore and The Maffetone Method by Dr. Philip Maffetone. And, of course, there is also the incredibly-useful book, Row Daily, Breathe Deeper, Live Better, by Dustin Ordway, which also suggests consistent, persistent, daily exercise with a twist: there's no such thing as too slow as long as you do it every day.

Slow rowing is the best medicine for your knees
Neither bicycling nor running give your knees the sort of full range-of-motion they need to warm up and lubricate. Only rowing—either indoor erging or rowing on the water—offers a combination of the aerobic load of the a bike and the therapeutic strengthening offered by leg presses, leg extensions, and squats.

The CBreeze Fan for the Concept2 Model C, D and B Rower
Introducing the coolest accessory available for the Concept 2 Indoor Rower (tm*). Become your own biggest Fan! Now make the Indoor Rower work to your advantage by channeling the airflow in an important direction, toward YOU! Creates more airflow than a 14" fan, and uses no electricity. FAQ: How long does it take to install? The first time will take a couple minutes, with practice about 1 minute . Do I need any tools? No tools are required for installation, and no modifications are needed. Why is this better than my fan? It uses no electricity and will go anywhere that your Indoor Rower will, or to the gym with you. I produce about 100 watts, will it cool me? Yes, I have tested it down to 50 Watts, the airflow in the picture is at a 2:30 Pace (100 watts). Can I adjust the airflow? Yes, by rotating the CBreeze about the perimeter of the fan cage, the airflow can be directed as desired. Will it make me faster? Only if used in conjunction with a well planned training program. Since you stay cooler you can train comfortably, longer. (The Marketing people said to just say "Yes.") Does it make Erging easier or harder? If you are currently overheating, I'd have to say easier, or at least more pleasant. What is it made out of? The CBreeze is made of a high quality nylon fabric, selected for durability. Can I still stand my erg on end for storage? Yes, it is flexible so storage options are not changed. Will it work with my Model A, B or D? The current model works with the Model C, D and B. Here is a picture for fitting to the Model B. (BBreeze) (Photo courtesy of "seat5") Do I change my Damper setting? To keep your previous Drag Factor you will need to change the damper setting with the CBreeze installed. Press the [OK] + [Rest] buttons to display "Drag", pull a few strokes and adjust the damper until the desired Drag Factor is displayed. Damper conversion Table I ordered but got no confirmation from PayPal, what happened? PayPal will send a confirmation right away to both of us and I send a confirmation of my own also. If Neither of these things have happened it may be due to cookies not being enabled for your browser.

Tuesday Fall Team Challenge Update
I didn't get as many meters as I wanted tonight primarily because of technical failures. I moved from POLAR H7 back to an old school Garmin ANT+ strap and disabled my USB thumb drive on my PM5 and then needed to swap out a dying Apple iPhone 5 and set up my Samsung S8 Active to work with the ErgData app.
