Christening my new pair of Nike Pegasus running shoes
I know I should be running instead of writing about running but I was reinstalling run-tracking apps onto my Samsung Galaxy S8 Active and wanted to start with a fresh pair of running shoes since you can plug your runners into a couple of the apps and then when you track a run the apps will also track the mileage that you put onto your shoes.

Addicted
I just quit the gym. I am addicted to running. Running takes a long time, so I can only do one or the other, and the Washington Sports Club loses this battle. There is nothing like running, to be sure.

I didn't get to the gym tonight. I went last night. Instead of resting, I felt like a lump so at around 11:30pm I put on my running togs, pulled on a watch cap, stuck my MiniDisc player into one sock, my keys in another, stuck them onto my hands, and hit the road.

I spent my entire evening getting caught up on work at the office and then pulled myself off the workstation and sulked home. I was tired and felt worn out; although I was not fatigued. Before anything else, I pulled on my orange Saucony Jazz runners and some togs, stretched slowly, and then hit the pavement.
