Back in 1997 and 1998 I was a creative writing instructor for a seminal on-line creative writing program. This program was a highschool magnet program for the Kalamazoo, MI, public schools.
I want to spend some time really writing out what the experience was like, but until then . . . until I can get the experience into words and if you're curious, you can download the dissertation my co-teacher and the brainchild of this program wrote for her PhD. I am still in awe that this program ever existed; I am even more in awe when I realize that this was the first program of its kind in the world.
