It looks like Polar is back, baby! GPS+heart rate training+activity tracker+sleep tracker+fitness tracker—all in one device and all for USD $200! New! The Polar Ignite GPS fitness watch!
And, DC Rainmaker "loves it" and finds that it brings into the watch's tech the sort of integrated, holistic, approach to the data and the analysis that even Garmin and Fitbit seem to have overlooked. Like, how sleep effects workouts, etc. Looks like a winner, and at 1/4-1/3 the cost of a fenix 5.
Polar was my first activity watch (my first GPS watch was a Garmin Forerunner 305) and I used it with a heart strap for all of my high-intensity training while being trained at XSport Fitness. I loved it. It had a holistic approach (but no GPS, not a runner's watch).
