I left drinks with Bob at a quarter after 5 PM in order to meet Andrew at Courthouse Cinema. En route, I decided I really didn't want to grind up Wilson Boulevard right before the movie, swamping out my second t-shirt; so, I cheated and jumped the Metro from Rosslyn to Courthouse.

I wish I took photos and I wish I got more of the ride. I also forgot to turn off my GPS watch when I loaded my bike up at the Pentagon Bus Stop for the last 2 miles up the hill to my apartment, so I really wasn't going around at 40 miles per hour uphill, so sorry about that!

I have been riding fixies and single-speed bikes since before some baby hipsters were born. Single speed bikes used as city bikes isn't a new idea.

How in the world can just 45-minutes of pedaling a stationary bike take my body to its physical limits?
