Just because I own a lot of “how to learn German” books doesn’t mean I know how to speak German but it does mean that I really want to. I am hungry to learn German — passionate even. I have opened up and read many of these. I am also a very good student of Rosetta Stone TOTALe and will be heading to Berlin in a couple days to attend an intensive 8-week course sponsored generously by the Goethe-Institut Washington, DC, and held from 8:30 AM through 1 PM, Monday through Thursday and 8:30 AM through Noon every Friday. I am hoping to be able to maintain a generous, friendly, and charming conversation in German as early as May, 2010. Wish me luck!
