I finally dropped the hammer and ordered a brand new Panasonic DMC-LX3 from Amazon, hoping to get it before I leave to Berlin on 9 March. I used to shoot for Corbis and still have images with Pacific Stock in Hawaii, so I am hoping to slowly spend more time making serious images. I still have some Nikon n90s bodies and fast Nikkor lenses, but I think it is about time to sort out what RAW is and how to work with and organize digital imaging. Wish me luck. This is about the smallest, tinniest, most compact professional-quality camera around. I considered these guys: Canon PowerShot G11, Canon Powershot G10, Sigma DP1, Sigma DP2, and the Ricoh GR Digital III but chose the LX3.
