While I was awaiting AVATAR in 3D I was watching, intently of course because I am in the space, and a very patriotic and very passionate long-form advertisement came on for the National Guard.
One thing I noticed that really concerned me was that the sound track — the music that accompanied this patriotic and all-American visual passion play was what everyone who has seen The Omen or any other really scary devil movie knows: the soundtrack to this National Guard commercial was devil music!
I don’t know if the people who put together this very passionate advert were aware that they were portraying the US National Guard as being demonic or evil, but I am a little afraid as to how it will come across.
What do you think?

If you would listen and not automatically assume that it is devil music, you would here the singers singing about how we are a strong nation that will not be defeated in our endeavors and how we will never give up. Oh, also, the music is in a Gregorian Chant style. It was the type of singing mostly heard in Roman Catholic Churches. It is also Operatic in its musical score, as most of the music is vocally produced. Do some research before you assume.
Also, to correct my spelling, first sentence is “hear” not “here”. I am somewhat tired, let me have a bit of leeway for that.
