- The Anacostia Community Boathouse hosted the third Youth River Sports Day back on August 8th. About 225 people visited the boathouse this year for a fun day on the Anacostia River with rowing, paddling, CrossFit, and the ever popular river tours. The kids has a great time on the dragon boats and this year they could not get enough of the rowing barges. Of course a day at the boathouse would not be complete without lunch. When it came time to eat, the boathouse volunteers could barely keep up.
