  • Provide an actual example of amphibian metamorphosis right in your classroom with these interesting aquarium animals. Because bullfrog tadpoles require two years to mature, we supply second-year specimens to ensure they mature within a year. Care instructions are included. Size: 2– 3?.
  • Bullfrog tadpoles (3-5") are harmless and feed on algae and mosquito larvae in the pond, often eating any insect eggs before they ever hatch. Eventually they turn into small frogs and begin eating any insects around the pond. Unlike toads, frogs won’t wonder off very far into the yard as they need to stay near a water source. Frogs will sit on the rocks around the edge of the pond or on lily pads sunning themselves in the afternoon. Minimum Quantity: 35
