Spending Some Time in New York

I am staying at a friend’s pad in Long Island City for the next couple weeks and I am starting to start sniffing around via train and Subway. Today was a wash. I spent the day catching up on loads of magazines that have piled up. Took a nap. Looked out the window at lower Manhattan and Brooklyn from the 35th floor of a LIC apartment tower. Got nothing done at all except rest and calm, two things my team fancies especially important for me. I guess they were right. Heck, it is Saturday, after all. Now I am on the 7 train towards Times Square. Just arrived! More later.
