Periodically, people ask me, “So Chris what do you think the next big thing might be?” And here’s what I said when Gail in Houston, Tx, asked:
I think the next big thing is search 2.0, which is context-aware. It is called Semantic Search, and we’re getting very much closer to that.
We have been searching using the same tools and many of the same algorithms for over ten years, so I think that Twitter is driving this new innovation.
