I almost always go to the Salvation Army or Goodwill or other “thrift” shop first when I need something, then Craigslist is my next choice. Just a few days ago I found this other classified site, OLX which is somewhat like Craigslist except that it has a lot more features and it’s worldwide. It’s free, and if you have items you need to find a home for (instead of throwing in the trash) you can add pictures and videos to your listings.

Earlier this week, I did a review of the amazing web classifieds site OLX.com. Yesterday, I was lucky enough to have a phone/email interview with entrepreneur and OLX co-founder Fabrice Grinda.

OLX is a global online classifieds website with more features than Craigslist, while remaining completely FREE, even for jobs and rental listings. But chances are you never heard of OLX.com because its popularity lies mainly outside of the United States in places like Spain, India, Portugal, Mexico, South America, China, and the Philippines. (I know of them because they’re based in New York City)

Hi Everyone, Have you heard of OLX? They describe themselves in the press release they sent us as: "The largest free classifieds site no one’s ever heard of!"
