I was amazed and fell in love with this crazy architectural delight that I discovered while walking about Bratislava, Slovakia.
“The Slovak Radio (Slovak: Slovenský rozhlas) is the Slovak national public service radio broadcaster. The daily broadcast was launched on 2 October 1926 from Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. Currently, its headquarters is located in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, in a building shaped like an inverted pyramid. The Slovak Radio manages the Slovak Radio Children’s Choir, founded in 1953 and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra[1], founded in 1929, and was formerly known as the Czechoslovak Radio(CSR) Symphony Orchestra.”
Very cool. I love it and what an amazing beacon for the headquarters of the national public radio service.
