I just got a call from CNN Radio to comment on Microsoft’s withdrawal of the offer for Yahoo! I love being on the Radio. I am lucky enough to be on CNN’s list as a technologist and total geek so CNN Radio sometimes calls me if they need a geek with a good voice. Who knows if they’ll use me or not. It is always a shot in the dark. I do have the radio on, however — well, since I am in Berlin, I have CNN Radio on via the Internet. I am psyched about getting calls in Berlin to comment on American technology news.
5AM CETUPDATE: Egad, I am on rotation on CNN Radio — probably for the whole hour. Wow, CNN Radio just ran another spot that made me sound like less of a retard, “Microsoft wants to buy Yahoo partially for the talent.” OK, it is almost 5AM CET here in Berlin so I am going to stop vanity-listening to CNN Radio… signing off now… Ha ha — just now, they added another loop — how a Microsoft purchase of Yahoo! would result in a serious change of the culture of Microsoft, influenced by the strong culture of the properties of Yahoo!: Yahoo Mail, Flickr, etc… OK, I am tired now, I really most step away from the CNN Radio…
