There are Berlin Schnitzel wars — restaurants all over Berlin are vying for who can make the largest, thinnest, lightest, most savory Weinerschnitzel. It is a really competitive thing going on and while I do enjoy them, they’re now becoming as thin as air and as large as an elephant ear, so it is very embarrassing and and absurd to see them coming in on plates to tables! Here’s an example as to how big they have become — it is pretty insane!
