I live in one of the former Guardhouses abutting this beautiful part that honors a prison. I took this moody photo while walking about in the morning while munching a fresh butter croissant from the local bakery/convenience store. Could you imagine if 7-11 offered fresh sandwiches, fresh pastries, fresh bread, and butter croissants? No! That’s Europe for you.
