Last night, I took my dear mum to the Lisner Auditorium at my Alma Mater, GWU, to spend a night with David Sedaris. I bought us the super-fancy WAMU public radio tickets and we sat ten meters away from his lectern and kept us laughing for almost 2-hours. Brilliant. If you are on his list of 33 cities for his lecture tour, you should indeed beg, borrow, or steal to see him — even donating $250 to WAMU for a pair of $40 tickets — a deal at double the price!
