When I wrote, My Next Bike is a Surly Steamroller Single Speed, I lied. There are just no Surly Steamrollers available, so I ordered a Soma Delancey single speed instead, which is going to end up being a very dear and lovely bike to own… this is just a stock picture of the bike. I will post real picture when I get it.

Was that bike used in “Breaking Away”?
Sure looks like it — I have decided to put on straight bars, though, so what I have is going to be sort of like a single speed mountain bike with skinny 700c tires. It will be bizarre.
