Journalism Gods Agree with Me on The Bribe

According to a commend by David Binkowski, “The journalism gods agree with you,” I am either amazingly insightful, or a complete MSM apologist.

All I can say is that we as free and private citizens blog however we want, say whatever we like, and reveal or protect whatever we like. Bloggers may certainly ignore basic journalism ethics. That said, bloggers beholden to their readership, and that trust may be broken. What can break this trust? Well, in some cases, deceitful shilling for the man.

If you tell me that following the NY Times guide to ethics is a grand idea, in much the same way that you might quote me scripture or suggest the Golden Rule, that’s fine. I am just not keen on being misperceived as a wanna-be reporter.
