Paul Mooney on and the New York Times’ Silence about the Edelman Bribe

Costly Gifts Costly Gift From Microsoft Is an Invitation to Blog We woke up to a new year, but my morning newspaper want’s me to remember Microsoft’s latest attempt to reach out to bloggers. Had the NYTimes researched the story they would have learned that this disaster was directed by Edelman PR, but maybe Edelman’s Me2Revolution Team is busy doing damage control. No one from Edelman has commented anywhere about what many are calling the bribe, but I've seen evidence in my blog log that they are monitoring the situation. What is the relationship between The New York Times and Edelman? Of the 90 bloggers who received laptops how many had previous relationships with Edelman and their clients? Ironically Microsoft hired Edelman to get better Press; I think they should ask for a refund or at least have Edelman come out from behind the curtain and explain the method behind this madness.
What is the relationship between
The New York Times and Edelman?
