Yes. I also watched this recently and was amazed by their performances. Reece really deserved her Oscar, and Joaquin came with more verve than the real Cash. All the more impressive that they sang the songs too. And listening to their versions agains the real thing, I’d sometimes take theirs.
I’d take theirs for all songs. Pity that they didn’t record more – this is my favourite soundtrack by far.

This is my favourite film of all time. It’s just fantastic. I agree that the singing is extraodinary and I actually thought Reese and Joaquin were miming until I read the credits.
