Okay, Apple OSX has had widgets forever, right? What is the difference between widgets and gadgets in Vista? Also, isn’t Vista Search and Organization exactly like Spotlight?
Wrong. Widgets only came about with the latest Mac OS…Tiger, Panther, Lemur…whatever
I love my OS X, but it’s probably worth noting that the Dashboard and its Widgets owe a lot to Konfabulator.
They’re all OSX… they’re all different different releases of OSX — sorry to contradict bobolicious…
Well, it all comes down to Apple, anyway:
“Dashboard is alleged to be based on Appleās Desk Accessories [1], first released in 1984 with the original Macintosh.”
