Retailers are Holding Back Wiis and PS3s Until Black Friday

“Many people are finding retail employees admitting that they have systems in the store, they simply won’t sell them until Black Friday.” As far as I am concerned, this is smart business.


Parents are essential to the console invasion since they buy most of the games and accessories. Let them buy the game consoles and they will feel more compelled to buy more games.

Since Sony, Nintendo, and Xbox are sold at a loss, this entire thing is a razor and blade market strategy.
