by Chris Abraham on 14/08/2006 ·

“Like what are my skills?”

I needed to brainstorm a list of some skills I have been honing for years now. I am pretty sure the list might be longer (or should be shorter). Check it out and let me know what I am missing (and where I am padding).

- Manage and enhance Search Engine Optimization (SEO) program, insuring that client’s web pages and web sites are highly ranked; also helps to reduce search engine ranking of pages that are detrimental to our client’s interests, a unique service called protective SEO.

- Design and implement blogs for clients, including customer requirements for look and feel, selecting and using appropriate software tools for blog implementation, and iterating through blog releases in conjunction with clients and end users.

- Design, develop, install, and maintain WordPress and Movable Type blogs

- Linux and Windows Web Server System Administrator, including installation and maintenance of Movable Type, WordPress, DotProject, Mediawiki Wiki, Drupal, PostNuke, Mailman, Webstats, Email and webmail applications.

- Development and production skills include Linux, PHP, MySQL, Apache, Sendmail, Perl, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver.

- Blog expert and expert on new media, technology, blogging, and the blogosphere, including training, teaching, and the development of blogging and online marketing strategy.

- Targeted Google AdWords and Yahoo! online contextual advertising campaign strategy and management for site.

- Innovative strategies to create buzz using Google Juice and Link Popularity.

- Innovative online advocacy and outreach programs to Usenet groups, message boards, social networks, and blogs.
