Screen on the Green is My Longest Running Commitment

I have been attending Screen on the Green more regularly in DC than even the 4th of July fireworks or the cherry blossoms. Last night, The Day the Earth Stood Still.

David, Andrew, Effie, Julia, Ollie, Emily, and Jess were already there for a while when I popped in right before the movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still.

I arrived and sat next to the lovely Julia.

Right before the movie, Justin popped in.

There was much food and drink. The Day the Earth Stood Still was hokie and recommended a heartless, scientific, fascistic, zero-tolerance police state, although the young libs thought it was selling utopia.

Silly puppies.

I don’t know about next week’s film, The Band Wagon, but I am reslly looking forward to seeing Bullitt with Steve McQueen on the 31st — although I will be out of town on business. Ooops.
