Since my office is conveniently in downtown Washington, DC, and I live on Capitol Hill, I have started commuting by bicycle.
A bike commute is nice and simple, especially since there is a shower in the office.
It takes me about fifteen minutes door-to-door. I ride a very simple single speed bike with only a couple moving parts.
It is a lot of fun, actually. I am a car guy and I can’t deny it; however, even my gas-guzzler is highly efficient and eco-friendly while simply parked.
