Looking for a New Server for a High Traffic MovableType Blog

Dear LazyWeb, I am looking for a new web host that can run my Movable Type blog, can handle 35+G monthly bandwidth, 3,000+ page veiws-a-day, 200,000+ page-views-a-month, with spikes of over 10,000 page views when traffic spikes, without missing a beat.

My current host can’t keep up and I can’t bear it much longer. Oh, and also cheap or as a partner venture. I am currently promoting my current host and also providing banner space, buttons, posts, and links.

Do you know where I can find a Linux-based PHP/Perl/MySQL web host, accessible via ssh, with amazing uptime, can handle over 3,000 daily page views with spikes up to 10-15,000 page views? I need to be able to handle the spikes. The site is technically static.

I move in excess of 40G of text-based bandwidth a month and about 150-200,000 page views a month. I plan to expand to podcasting.

I was down most of yesterday afternoon and evening and I can’t deal with one more day of it.

Sorry for the incovenience yesterday.

  1. Definetly check out DreamHost! I outgrew my previous host, and moved a few sites over there, a few months ago. I haven’t had any problems, at all.

I have a referral link and a promo code to save an initial $40, if you’re intereted. I didn’t want to post it here, since that would just be “wrong”, without asking.
