Is Howard Stern Worth a Switch to Sirius?

I am getting a little bored with my XM — I am going to bring my radio to work to see if I can reignite my love affair with the XM. Sirius has podcasts and is has Howard Stern. What do you think about where Stern’s shockertainment empire has gone? whatswithhowardstern? Is he money?

I think he’s gone shocktastic, but Stern-aside I absolutely LOVE my sirius. I think they grant their program directors more leeway. It’s more eclectic, more music fan based, vs record chart based.

It’s got a lot of good stuff - not sure what you mean by pod-cast - they’re streaming, so you get a logon to listen online for each radio you activate but not sure about the podcast you speak of.

Some of the talk-show gems on Sirius:
    Stern - of course
Bubba (BTLS.com) - Stern saw some talent, and he was right
Jay Thomas on Stars - good actor, great host
RPM on Maxim, durring the day -great car talk
NPR talk, NPR today, CNN headline and CNN straight up… along with many many eclectic music channels.

All great - I’m never bored with Sirius.

…hmmm, guess I meant besides that?
Anyhow, I love stern and wanted to make sure that was clear. =)

I bring in my original Starmate to work, and should I need to go away from my desk - hit pause - then come back to resume (also works to skip over commercials when you’re listening time-shifted - shhhh) ~ and I don’t work for sirius either ^-^ Well worth the $12 a month (12 month sub)
