ProBlogger is featuring a list, What’s the Biggest Lie About Blogging?, and Jeremy Wright in particular… Great list but there are a few with which I disagree…
8. Facts just get in the way of blogging.
If facts keep you from blogging, then facts do get in the way of blogging.
9. Without open comments, it’s not a blog anyway.
I use to think this was a lie but now I am sold that blogs are the new USENET.
10. There are 10,000 new blogs launched every day.
This is true. It doesn’t say there are 10,000 intentional or worthwhile blogs launched every day.
15. Anyone can blog.
Anyone can but not everyone should.
18. Blogs are a great marketing gimmick, so I should catch the buzz wave and contrive one.
