At the worst, they'll just give you a replacement iPod. That happened to my very first one, the original first generation 5 gig ipod with the mechanical scroll wheel. I think it stopped accepting clicks. Anyway, I called it in, they shipped me a new one in a few days.Granted, being iPod-less is no fun, but I mean, things sometimes break - that's the whole reason for the warranty.
