Authentic is as Authentic Does in the Blogosphere

“‘The only way to be credible in the blogosphere is to be authentic,’ said panelist Jason Calacanis, founder of Weblogs, Inc.” Via PR Machine & Online Media Daily.

Noone knows you’re a dog on the Internet, to misquote a New Yorker cartoon from years ago. I wonder how authentic Jason Calacanis is with all of that profit motive?

We’ve been up from day one that Weblogs, Inc. had the goal of making money from blogs… that’s why we put the “Inc” at the end and not a “.ORG” :-)
