Zacarias Moussaoui Verdict is Good for America’s Brand Reputation

by Chris Abraham on 04/05/2006 ·

Allowing Zacarias Moussaoui to spend the rest of his life in prison is great for America’s tarnished brand reputation for two reasons: firstly, it helps us defend agaist international allegations that the United States routinely violates human rights (right now, we’re kind of perceived to be as bad as China) and secondly, it disallows Zacarias Moussaoui from being a martyr.

We don’t want Zacarias Moussaoui to be martyred by our hands. Martyrdom is not where we want to be on this.
