RFID Can Help Us All Stop Forgetting Or Keys and Cell Phones

by Chris Abraham on 23/04/2006 ·

The Ladybag is the first step towards helping forgetful people like me use RFID technology to keep me from getting half way to work before remembering that I left my cell and Blackberry at home. Via Picturephoning

“RFID tags are inserted into your “stuff,” and a reader at the bottom of the purse makes sure they’re all there before you leave the house. If something is missing, a pattern associated with that item LIGHTS UP on the outside of the bag.”

It is very girly and very silly in its current version, but I am sure that instead of goofy LED hearts and dashes, the complaint alert could probably be tonal instead.

Although the Ladybag is a purse, I would love to install the technology into my briefcase.
