Although I have a hard time convincing business people that online messaging (blogging, podcasting, video blogging, etc) is an essential parts of their marketing and PR campaign startegy, most wonks, pundits, politicos, Hill staffers, lobbyists, talking heads, and journalists know that in 2006 and 2008 the candidates with the most effective online campaign strategy will have the greatest advantage when Americans go to the polls.
