“The purpose of the Relationship Essentials phase [on Chemistry.com] is to immedidately provide basic information about your relationship values.”
“However, generally this type of information comes out naturally throughout the course of a relationship. Does this person really need to know how I feel about sharing money before he knows whether I like sushi? Plus, several of my relationship essentials were not on the questionnaire such as trustworthiness and kindness. The questionnaire included items such as humor, fashion sense, and sociability, which are wonderful in a man, but not essential to me. Granted, chemistry.com gives you the option of saying these qualities are not important. However, I am reticent to tag every quality as not important. A bit of a dilemma there. Perhaps a space for write-ins, Chemistry.com?”
So goes Part VI of the series of reports* my comely and anonymous single female reporter about Chemistry.com, a premium property of Match.com.

*Editor’s Note: I, Chris Abraham, am underwriting the Chemistry.com subscription fee for my lovely and anonymous female friend for blog fodder. I really want to see what the experience is for a woman on a dating site. And I am betting you might want to experience it right along with me. This will be a continuing series following my cute and available friend through her Chemistry.com experiences at almost real time. Enjoy!
