I live in Ohio and I’m a 32 year old father, I have fell in love withg this breed of dogs.Thinking of possible getting a couple and building a kennel. I’m really interested in ones with markings like the white and black one in the picture. Hope to here back from you soon.

They are great dogs, but please please do extensive research on the breed before you buy one!They need lots of exercise and love.
They require tons of patience, dedication, and lots of time too! I would recommend NOT getting a BT puppy as your first BT. You don’t know how a puppy will turn out. If it is possible, try and get a “mellow” adult. This breed is extremely energetic and strong! Make sure any children you have are mature enough to handle living with a strong, stubborn dog!
That being said, this breed of dog has so much heart. Have you read the book about Marley the yellow retriever? Don’t remember the exact title, but that personality IS a BT. It is a lot of dog!
We got Ivan as a puppy after my dad fell in love with another BT in the neighborhood. It has been an adventure!!! Although, I’m not always sure my parents feel the same way, I think he has brought so much energy and fun into our home. But owning him is a big challenge! That being said, I love our dog so much. He makes me laugh every day. :)
Hi, my name is Miguel and i owe a female BT. I falled in love whit this type of breed ever since i got her as a birthday present! I agree, you gota be ready to handle the chalenge, but once you are, you’ll enyoy it!! My female is pregnant, so im thinking give a puppy to each family member!

wow what a cute pair! i have a 5 stone english bull terrier myself who was abused before i got him! i have had him a year now and he is perfect!! he has a black spot right in the middle of his head!! it has taken a lot of work to make him confident and it all payed off!! now iam going to get another one but as a pup!! i look forward to the challenge!!

ihave a bt called Tapia he such a character he make all my frinds laugh an is great with kids. I agree there really worth the hard work.i still dont understand why poeple cross the street to go past us.
I agree with all, they are hard work but worth it, we have no back doors left in the house as Max decided to run through them all!!! But he is gorgeous and We Love him loads:-)
I have a BT named miela and she loves 2 play i also agree they r hard work but its worth it hope you take care of urs.
those have to be the best lookin pups i have ever seen. ive just adopted a 2 year old brindle that was seriously abused and made to fight. but he is the most placid dog ever. he was quite subdued at first but a month on and we are best of friends he is so loving but like everyone says very stubborn.but i know hes going to be worth.

Their dogs are cute, I want to ask for help to those who wrote here, help me to find a kennel in USA or in England where I can buy a fire Bull Terrier legitimate and give to Brazil because here but to be a very expensive offspring are not 100% pure.

I had the pleasure of knowing my bully Oscar for 19mths before his very untimely death age 22 mths oct 08. He was white and the most loving and faithful dog. I have since got a coloured one aged 5mths called Harry and am about to get a 6 mth old white bitch that i will call Sally ( when Harry met Sally )i know it will be loads of work but the pleasure i will get back will be more than worth it. They are the funniet dogs they never fail to make you laugh. A bully never lies next to you they lie on you and i love it.
My condolences about Oscar and I hope Harry (a boy’s name for a girl?) brings you much happiness!
Thank you very much Chris. Thankfully i have not come across anyone who has said “well its only a dog”. Harry is a beautiful boy and he gets on great with Sally they eat together and share toys and yes he has brought me much pleasure and Sally is really sweet very different to harry, he is just in your face he demands attention and must lie next to me on the settee whereas Sally is very easy going and mellow.

I have a bull terrier and would not have any other breed. The loyalty and love for his owner he displays is overwhelming. He is almost two years old and very playful with a great personality. This is the best breed of dog on the planet. I will never own another breed..bully pups rule!!!!
my ebt is a little over two now,i have had staffys all my life untill i got MOOSE (his name), he is a proper nutter wont do a thing i tell him but he is the best dog i have ever had,loveing, loyal and very friendly, no problems with other dogs or my kids, a natural born guard dog. i just wish i was his master and not the other way round.i would never be without him, the best dog on the planetand hes mine, yeeee ha
hya really felt for * heather scott* reading her unfortunate passing . we got roxy when she was only 2years old she just happened to be returned to her breeder through no fault of her own and our fortunate luck that our freinds have her borther and we enquired to the breeder if she was to have any puppies and at the time she had none . anyway a week later she rang and said she had roxy and for us too come and see , when we arrive her mother ran out too the gate being very protective an boystroius an then roxy followed out behind her ! we fell in love with her straight away with her brindle markings all over . we knew the breed before getting her as i have mentioned her brothers owners had one before called spud and he was sooo gentle an loving that we knew that was what we wanted to join the family.
roxy is the most loving dog and i think this breed exceed in their love and affection and become the next child in the house anyone too say anything different is wrong!!!! this is most loyalist of dogs and protecters and roxy is due her pups anytime now as i type.
this dog was bred to show stamina (gladaitor) strength and durance but most of all the breed has come out all on its own and its our freind if not the daughter we never had !!!
i want one of these dogs so badly. i remember seeing one when i was younger i must have been about 6 or 7 and i knew that was the dog for me, as of yet i haent been able to persuade my parents to get another dog but i will hopefully get one soon :) from what i have heard these are the most loyal dogs and i want to have a dog that is like that, it hinkt hey are beautiful and anyone who says any different should really take a nother look. so hopefully i will have one soon!! :))
I have a year and a half old BT named “Zeus”. He is awesome. However, if you aren’t ready to have a 60+ lb dog flying full speed in “hucklebutt” around your house, you aren’t ready for a BT. They are amazing, loyal, loving, independent, yet somehow emotionally dependent on you. Yet they require IMMENSE amount of energy burn-off. He won’t run with me longer than about a mile, but play time with other dogs does the trick, OR 30 minutes of catch with the ball in our hallway. If you’re patient and can handle a ball of energy they are the best dog you can own.

I am looking to get a bull terrier for my family right now, but we live in Toulouse France and I am not really sure where to start looking over here. Does anyone have any ideas? We don’t mind adapting an older one. We would just like to have a bull terrier as part of our little family!
