You Really Are What Your Drive

I was thinking about my car and the cars I have had and they have been accurate representations of who I am, not who I want to become as I had thought.

I am curious as to whether this is true. I have a few questions I would like to ask you, my gentle readers:

* What kind of car* do you drive? (*bike, scooter, vehicle, moto, etc)
* What year?
* What color?
* Why did you choose this vehicle?
* What was/is the favorite of all your cars* (*bike, scooter, vehicle, moto, etc)
* What year?
* What color?
* Why did you choose this vehicle?
* How old were you when you owned your favorite car?
* What is the car* you hated? (*bike, scooter, vehicle, moto, etc)
* Why did you hate it?
* Why did you choose this vehicle?
* What kind of car* would you dream of driving (your dream car) without limits or practicality? (*bike, scooter, vehicle, moto, etc)

    What kind of car do you drive?
    BMW 530i

    What year?
    2001

    What color?
    Dark gray

    Why did you choose this vehicle?
    I personally think that the "e39" BMW body style (1995-2003) is the height of sedan design. A perfect thing., It was handsome without being pretty, drove amazingly without being harsh, lots of room without being boxy, sexy without being ostentatious, and capable without being aggressive.

    What was/is the favorite of all your cars?
    Triumph TR-6

    What year?
    1974

    What color?
    British Racing Green (BRG)

    Why did you choose this vehicle?
    It was my dad’s favorite car. He was a Triumph guy who owned a TR-3, a TR-4, and a TR-6. I owned it in Hawai`i and it was perfect. The inline-6 with carburetors was easy to fix and there was easy acceleration and great handling, although it had one hell of a huge turning radius.

    How old were you when you owned your favorite car?
    25. Well, I got to drive the 6 while I was growing up and there are pictures of my in it with my highschool sweetheart, Georgina, at 17-years-old. I owned it for a year after my dad passed away and left it to me.

    What is the car you hated?
    Blue 1989 Honda Civic hatchback

    Why did you hate it?
    It didn’t feel like mine, it felt like Mark’s. I hated the series of 1989 Honda Civic hatchbacks that Mark and I passed back and forth over the years just because they were ugly. That said, they were amazingly capable and quick and reliable and would never complains. Mark and I joke how the cars were in fact built upon alien technologies and really only exhibit physical limitations when they feel like their owner is onto them.

    Why did you choose this vehicle?
    Those 1989 Honda Civic hatchbacks in a lot of ways were community vehicles. Places in cities such as Charleston and Washington, DC, to be used when needed.

    What kind of car would you dream of driving (your dream car) without limits or practicality?
    Right now I think I would want to own a 2006 Porsche Carrera 4 But then again, if I was going to spend that kind of money why not just get the 2006 BMW M5.
