The Game was Better Than the Ads During Superbowl 40

The people who are in the know, such as Pete Snyder and his gang from New Media Strategies, fancy the Superbowl ads this year — Superbowl XL — to be playing it safe and going for the gags. Via New Media Sphere, WSJ, Reuters.


I attended a Superbowl party at Eric and Jenn’s house with Wendy and Sue and even as a media maven and someone who prefers commercials to sports (and most TV) most days of the week, I was uninspired by all but the Clydesdale “Clydesdale American Dream” by Budweiser and the PEBL ads.
