I am afraid that the authority and respect held by Federal Air Marshalls might be tarnished by what happened at MIA — but I hope not.
Homeland Security spokesman Russ Knocke was right when he said the the marshalls “took appropriate action” and that their decision to shoot was “consistent with their training.” Via the Washington Post.
