One of the best AA slogans is, “our secrets are our sickness.” Secret sex lives are killing us because married couples just don’t use condoms because cheating spouses don’t carry condoms.
Cheating spouses have unprotected sex. See where I am going here. And I am not even going to talk about the DL in DC in this entry.
When it comes to cheating on your spouse with anyone, especially but not exclusively if he or she is a prostitute, an IV drug user, is promiscuous, doesn’t practice safe sex, you need to carry and use condoms.
I know why you’re not. Its because carrying condoms means you plan to. And when you carry condoms, your spouse might — will — find them.
I know this is World AIDS day, but I can’t tell you how many women and men are now carrying herpes, HPV, and even AIDS even though they have been in monogamous relationships for years.
Not, don’t blame it on the a virgin birth scenario or a toilet seat: you have been fucking someone on the side and that someone is either someone else’s someone or is the same sex as you are.
Very literally, our secrets are our sickness. Are you ready to kill your spouse? Are you willing to commit murder?
You are not keeping a secret to protect her, you are keeping the secret because you are a coward, because you are going to be in trouble, because you don’t want to give up a fine piece of ass, and because you’re not gay (of course you’re not)!
Whatever.
