A Reunion of Sorts at Helix

Last night Dave and I, brothers and college chums, got together last night with a handful of our college classmates. It was a really fun night.

We all look the same, which is good; although, I am last single one. David has known his wife, Roshanna, for seventeen years and married for nine!

(Of course, I introduced them)

My fraternity brother, chum, and fellow GW alum David invited me to a makeshift reunion at the silly, poorly-executed, pop bar called the Helix Lounge, which is trendy and hip even though it cut all sorts of corners in its design.

Hotel Helix is the absolutely worst interpretation of the cool boutique hotel made famous in London, New York, San Francisco, and I think even LA.

    Hey Chris,

It was great running into you at the “silly” Helix Lounge. ;) You’re right–we all do look the same (although that goatee that Junior is sporting these days also garners him instant cred among the hip “under 30″ set). I wish we had more time to chat about Bob Woodward’s ethics, Hillary’s chances in 2008, and if it will take longer for China to emerge as America’s rival for superpower status or for me to finish my dissertation. Just let me know if you’re ever interested in a political sparring partner.

And thank you for the Diet Cokes last night–man, was I a lush or what?!?!

    Cheers,
