Why Do Blogs Rank Better on Google Than My Corporate Website?

by Chris Abraham on 14/10/2005 ·

The condition is commonly-called Google-gaming.

It is the favor that Google attributes to blogs, which is what is happening here: a blog is a) text-rich (lots of dense keywords and lots of textual content), b) frequently-updated (multiple times a day), and c) also a center for news (ie. a blog — with timely information — Google would hate not being able to scoop web content.

Its all a contest — very much like CNN v. MSNBC v. FOX: Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
