We Used to Call it Sandbagging But Now its Podding

What I called sandbagging my camera in low light when I didn’t have a tripod, the people at Bogen are calling podding.

If you package something well enough, even if it is essentially an old trick and free, market the hell out of it, and then get it on Gizmodo, you can make big bucks!

As a seasoned-shooter on sabbatical, I know all the tricks of still photography. The best two are sandbagging and bracing if you are without a flash or a tripod in low-light. I usually used my Domke camera bag as a makeshift “sand bag” and a wall or pole to help me brace.
