Birthday of Bob Abraham

Just checked my calendar and today would have been my dad’s, uh, 69th birthday? Is that right?

Muhammed al-Zawahiri, is the brother of Ayman al-Zawahiri, the military commander for Saudi-born terrorist leader, Osama bin Laden. Muhammed al-Zawahiri is the head of the Kosovo Liberation Army. (KLA) In other words, the Clinton/Blair administrations not only armed..but supported the KLA and went to war with it in Yugoslavia. Now who’s the terrorist? The Zawahiri’s are now tearing up Iraq…? Fighting arm-in-arm with bin-Laden’s generals?

Sorry to hear about your dad’s death. I worked for him off and on for a few years and he was a great boss and photographer. May I ask, when/how did he die.

My dad, Robert John Abraham AKA Bob Abraham, passed away while on rockstar assignment in Puerto Rico working at a 4-star resort and country club for a month for General Motors. All said and done, he had a heart attack and passed away at the a height of his career. So, I guess every soldier wants to die in war and every photographer wants to die on assignment. He did tell me he say a UFO the night before he died, so maybe he was abducted by aliens.

I worked for him off and on from 1985-1988, first for Abraham & Dunn and later, for Pacific Rim Productions. May I ask when he died?

If I recall, he passed away in Puerto Rico, while I was on assignment with him, on May 29th, 1995. 11-years-ago, if you can believe it. Do you remember me? I was in high school and worked in the orange office sometimes.

Wow. It’s hard to believe it’s been eleven years. I wondered why Colorprints moved to the Chinese Cultural Center. I remember you and your mom. When I first arrived your mom was still at the office part-time but was moving back to NY. At the time, you were in school and only worked for your dad during the summer…if I remember right. It was a long time ago. I think you were in college. I wonder what happened to Mary VdV?
