Honestly, being a man does require shaving with a razor but this new crop of nancy metrosexuals take it too far.
A real man might use a badger shaving brush but fetishing shaving can go way too far in the case of a ten-minute shave routine. To quote J-Walk Blog, “Wus. If it takes more than 90 second to shave your face, you’re doing something wrong.”

I do use a badger hair brush. It’s an old Crabtree & Evelyn ivory-handled piece that has been passed down from my grandfater, to my dad, and now to me. No pre-shave oil, but I find that a good cold-water splash works wonders before aftershave (Chanel). Also, for nicks, L’Occitane’s shave stick does the trick.
How long does it take?
More than 90 seconds, much less than 10 minutes.
